Xing (crossing in new genres) originally consisted of 4 persons, namely kevin (Woo Sung Hyun), Yume (Kim Young Kyung), marumir (Kim Kibum), Cheon hyesung (Choi Sung Soo). Because they are not BoyBand, but acapella band, so they were dubbed as the teenage SG Wannabe.
His first single, in your hands, released on 14 December 2006 with the 4th member of it. Xing Entertaiment then add 2 new members, Zen and the Poppin ‘Dragon. when added new members, Xing’s popularity is increasing
In late January, Xing held their first concert which is a form of training for them. Not only concerts, but also performance. In early 2007, they appeared in a magazine. They also released the MV online and some other video. On July 14, 2007, Marumir announced his departure from XING, the reason being that he left for a better future for himself. . After marumir, Cheon Hyesung also resigned without notice from him or Xing Entertainment, after a performance at the YTN Star Digital Night Concert (maybe it was 6 December 2007).
On 5 August 2007, they released their debut 2nd single, my girl, with pop genre. At first many fans are not happy with their new genre. But in the end they liked it because Xing Entertaiment tried a performance to show their talents and promote their new single.
Xing held their second performance, 8 September 2007 was made to promote their solo performance. They conduct formal performance at YTN Star Digital Night Concert.
12 January 2008, Yume decided to leave the group made the announcement on his Cyworld. 13 January 2008, Poppin’ Dragon also decided to leave the group. Kevin and Zen, along with four former members of the group “Singing in the Rain”, Yoon, White, Husky, and Gun, and a new member, Kipalang, makeup of the 7-member group Xing
On March 17, 2008, 7-Xing group released a digital single “T Express.” Group changes the music style once again, from the pop genre so rap genre. After the release of this single, in April, Kevin, the only original member of Xing decided to depart from grup. Grup now stands as a 6-group members. Xing Entertainment has declared that “Xing is a group project that will have members rotating in and out, with the hope of keeping the group fresh” and then Soul, Rising, joined and makes a new group Xing (October 29, 2008).

On August 15, 2008, the two former members of the original Xing, Kevin,and Kim Ki Bum (Marumir), debuted under NH Media Japan in a new 6-member boy group called U-Kiss.
Former member Poppin’ Dragon is currently a rapper in boy group called, Beast, debuting in October 2009 under JYP Entertainment’s sister company Cube Entertainment. And the last former members included Rising, Soul, Kipalang, White and Husky debuted in 2010 with a new formation and a new name (DaeGugNamAh / D-NA). The other, Gun and Yoon will join another boyband with 3 new members.
now xing (xing 5th generation) officially have 5 members. The members include Kim Dong Geun, Kim Jin Wan, Hwang Doo Hwan, Jin Hyeon Jin and Kim Wan Chul
